The Isle Server Rules
These are rules that apply on our DINO WORLD 1 server on The Isle game.
1.) If you want to attack, you MUST 3 CALL an opponent at least TWICE while FACING THE OPPONENT, NOT FROM BEHIND and MUST GIVE TIME for the opponent to respond with a minimum of 5 SECONDS between the calls
2.) If the opponent doesn't respond to your second 3 call in a minimum of 5 seconds, then you, the challenger, have to make a THIRD 3 call and then you have the right to attack immediately
3.) Contested opponent has the right to ACCEPT a fight by 3 CALLING, after that the fight is on
Fighters need to stay in a line of sight or in an active pursuit, if the fighters lose contact and disengage or one of them logs out, the fight is OVER
4.) Contested opponent has the right to DECLINE a fight by 4 CALLING and MUST LEAVE THE AREA IMMEDIATELY, contested opponent MUST NOT STOP WALKING until they're out of the challenger's sight and the CHALLENGER CANNOT FOLLOW THE CONTESTED OPPONENT more than 10 steps into the same direction that the contested opponent is leaving
Contested opponent must not return to the area immediately, cooldown approximately 5 minutes
If the opponent doesn't leave the area or returns without waiting for the cooldown above, the challenger has the right to attack regardless
5.) If a fight has already been accepted by both sides using a 3 call, it can no longer be cancelled by a 4 call
Unless both parties have agreed to end the fight or have agreed to a practice fight beforehand
If you are a part of a fight, stay away from nearby players and/or do not hide in other player's characters
6.) If you're not a part of a fight, you can't interfere or join it and you must leave the winner(s) of the fight alone
Winner(s) with bleed must first heal all of the bleed before they can be contested again
If you hear a 3 call or see others fighting, you are advised to keep a safe distance from the conflict so you don't get injured
7.) 4 CALL from a nesting female on a nest with hatchlings MUST be accepted as a DECLINE
In the above case, you can't attack and must leave the nesting female alone including its hatchlings
If the female is challenged while away from its nest, then the female is considered as any other player, therefore rules #3 and #4 apply
If there is no female present on the nest and there are hatchlings near or in the nest, the hatchlings can be challenged as per rule #3 and the challenged hatchling must leave the area immediately and running away from the challenger while constantly calling (SCREAM and RUN !!!) - basically behave as per rule #4
It is the mother's responsibility to decline a challenge by 4 CALLING on the nest to protect its hatchlings
If anybody is biting the nest, it is the FEMALE's responsibility to 3 CALL the player that's attacking the nest, as per rules #1, #2 and #3 (TIP - do not nest in high traffic areas to lower the chance of having the nest destroyed by other players)
8.) Nesting female without hatchlings is considered the same as any other dino (rules #1, #2, #3 and #4 apply)
9.) If a fight is initiated in the Danger Zone and the fighters leave the zone, the fight continues outside the zone unless both parties agree to stop it under their own will
Rules apply to all of the fight's participants as soon as the fight has ended
10.) Keep group fights fair
1v1, 2v2, 3v3 -> if both sides are same sized dinosaurs
1v3 -> 1 mega apex vs. 3 big-sized (apex)
3v1 -> 3 mid-sized vs. 1 big-sized (apex)
5v1 -> 5 small-sized vs. 1 big-sized (apex)
Amount of small-sized & mid-sized DOUBLES if fighting against a mega apex (e.g. 6 mid-sized vs. 1 mega apex)
Adjust accordingly using common sense; example: 3 small-sized vs. 1 mid-sized and so on...
11.) Ai dinosaurs are EXCLUDED from ALL of the above rules
4 call & 3 call rules do NOT apply (for both parties)
Fair fights rule does NOT apply (for both parties)
Any player may attack anyone playing an AI dinosaur
Players playing an AI dinosaur may attack anyone
